What is to be done?

WAND ED Susan Shaer maintains a correspondence with an Iraqi woman whom she hosted some months ago. After several weeks without hearing a word, Susan grew worried and sent a message to her friend, who still lives in Iraq.

She told her that Congress is trying to find a way to withdraw the U.S. troops, and asked her what she thinks about that. This is her -- heartbreaking -- reply:

Thank you, am fine now . I have been little hurt in my arm . A fragment from an explosion  hit my  arm. I was far from the explosion , I don’t know what happen, I felt something touch me . then I see my arm bleeding … am fin now.

Want to tell you what is going here. We know from the news that the Democratic want the troops to leave Iraq. But we are asking , who did this mess? And who will fix it. Who will control this bad situation … the Americans feel sorry that few of you solders dieing every day . what about the Iraqi peoples who are dieing hundreds of them every day .

US troops came to Iraq to bring freedom , Democracy . Do you think that we have them now . US brought to Iraq terrorism ,death , making Homeless . many families lost their Sons , wives lost their husbands, children lost their parents . even there is many families have no home, no place to live in… every thing is destroyed because of the occupation .

After all of that , you want your troops to leave, to go back to their families   because you feel sorry for them …What about us?. Is that fair ?. Is that  the human rights you know.

If you want to leave , you have to fixed some of your mistakes . at least to change this poor government . don’t think that we choose this government . cause the Election was a real Game. Full of cheating. The American want someone who down his head , and accept every thing they want . this is our government now.

So people here are so upset . they says ( now the American want to leave after all they did in Iraq ). Cause they know that the Iraqis cant control the situation .

This is what in the street now .
